Read This: Economic Sophisms

"Economic Sophisms" was authored by Frederic Bastiat and first published in 1921. 

Frederic Bastiat was clearly ahead of his time in terms of the way he thought. It is shocking that some of the ideologies in this book can be applied to economics in modern times. Bastiat completely destroyed the economic fallacies of protectionism amongst some other things.
