Biden Elects Janet Yellen As Treasury Secretary

 President-elect Joe Biden has elected former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen to serve as his Treasury Secretary.

Janet Yellen will be the first woman to hold the top economic policy job in history. Yellen is 74 years old and has been closely linked to the Democratic party her entire public service career.
