Kim Janey Becomes First Black Female Mayor Of Boston

 History has been made in the city of Boston, Massachusetts. Kim Janey has become the first black and the first woman to become the mayor of Boston. This was made possible when former Mayor Marty Walsh joined the Biden administration as the secretary of labor. 

Kim will be the acting mayor of Boston for the next 7 months until the election in November 2021. It is unclear whether Kim Janey will run for Mayor.
