Andrew Yang Quits The Democratic Party

 Former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang has officially announced on his website that he is quitting the Democratic Party.

Yang is electing to change his registration to become an independent voter. He believes he can have a greater impact by leaving the Democratic Party. 

"Breaking up with the Democratic Party feels like the right thing to do because I believe I can have a greater impact this way" -Andrew Yang

Yang has plans for his new third party, which will be called The Forward Party. The Foward Party will include the universal basic income and be governed by principles like fact-based governance and human-centered capitalism.
