Joe Biden Will Meet Meet With The Pope

 Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden plans to meet with the Pope during their European diplomatic trip. President Biden plans to talk with the Pope about COVID-19, climate change, and much more.

"Joe Biden and the Pope will discuss working together on efforts grounded in respect for fundamental human dignity, including ending the COVID-19 pandemic, tackling the climate crisis, and caring for the poor" - Jen Psaki, White House press secretary

Biden is the nation's second president to identify as catholic along with John F. Kennedy. Joe Biden first met Pope Francis back in 2015 at the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia. They also met at the Vatican in 2016 when Joe Biden attended a conference on regenerative medicine when he was the Vice President.

The meeting is slated to take place on October 29, 2021.
