Senate Fails To Change Filibuster Rule For Passage Of Voting Rights Legislation

 The Senate failed to change the filibuster rule to allow voting rights legislation to pass with a simple majority. President Joe Biden has publicly revealed his disappointment with congress for failing to get this done. 

"I am profoundly disappointed that the Senate has failed to stand up for our democracy. I am disappointed but I am not deterred. We will continue to advance necessary legislation and push for Senate procedural changes that will protect the fundamental right to vote." - Joe Biden

This entire voting rights fiasco is an American Embarrassment. Voting and the ability to vote for whoever you want to vote for is the heart of living in a democracy. 

What's really interesting is not all Democrats voted in favor of changing the filibuster rule.
